In this timely new session, Actionable Real-Time Results Using the Lexile and Quantile Frameworks in Kentucky, educators will learn how they can use the Lexile and Quantile Framework as instructional resources, growth monitors, and performance forecasting tools.

Main ideas presented in the session:

  • Learn how to apply new measures to pace and differentiate ELA and math instruction
  • Forecast student outcomes before spring testing and provide data for school improvement
  • Provide your district with real-time data to determine needs for length and intensity of reading and math intervention services
  • Provide free web-based resources that educators and parents in your district can use immediately to facilitate a two-fold student support system

This four-part seminar will be held at the Marriott Griffin Gate in Lexington, March 28, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

Presenter Information:
Jason Turner is the professional development director with MetaMetrics in Durham, N.C., where he has played a variety of roles.  Jason has managed implementation and professional development for the Lexile and Quantile Frameworks.  Additionally, Jason has overseen various state and district outreach efforts and developed content and training modules for both Web products: MyReadingWeb and MyWritingWeb.  Jason has worked extensively in the training and implementation of the Lexile and Quantile Frameworks in schools and districts across North America.
