Presented by: Brenda McClain, president of McClain Communications

McClain is president of her own consulting firm specializing in message development and delivery. Her clients include AT&T, Turner Broadcasting, The Outdoor Advertising Association of America, Marriott International, and many others. In addition, all new superintendents in Kentucky receive this training as part of their required training program. 

McClain began her career as a radio and television reporter and has worked as a newspaper reporter, high school English and journalism teacher, and manager of media relations for BellSouth Corporation. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude from Furman University in Greenville, S.C. in 1979, where she received her bachelor’s degree in English. She graduated from Stanford University’s Mass Media Institute in Television News in 1983.
