Do you need to learn more about the recent anti-bullying law?
KASA is pleased to offer this one-day workshop to help educators deal with all forms of bullying and to develop a school-wide anti-bullying program. Presenters Lynn McCoy-Simandle, Research Assistant with Kentucky Safe Schools, and Karen McCuiston, Director of the Post-Secondary Component with the Kentucky Center for School Safety, will present timely information to assist schools deal with bullying on school premises as well as cyberbullying.
Goals and Outcomes
- Recognize different types of bullying
- Have a better understanding of cyberbullying and its scope
- Learn the extreme measures students take to escape cyberbulling
- Discuss the effect of bullying on education in the school
- Learn steps a truly committed faculty and staff can take to combat bullying
- Recognize the steps to develop a school-wide anti-bullying program
- List the Requirements of Kentucky's new anti-bullying law
- Obtain resources to keep current and informed
