New Administrators Institute 2007-2008

**Registration Now Closed**

For the 2007-2008 school year, we will continue to offer our New Adminsitrators’ Institute for principals and assistant principals with four years or less experience.  Current research clearly indicates that it takes four years for new administrators to mature to a high level of effectiveness.  For this reason, we are offering new principals the opportunity to meet with a group of peers that are at similar levels of development working on dimensions and functions vital to become effective instructional leaders.

Through the work of the Wallace Foundation in Kentucky, a principal development leadership continuum for principals is being developed for four career stages.  These are aspiring key behaviors; beginning key behaviors; experienced key behaviors; and retired administrator and other key behaviors.  Our Institute will focus on those research-based behaviors for the beginning principals (0 – 4 years experience).

Participants will be invited to attend our national consultant events, three cadre sessions, and the opportunity to participate in our e-Learning Community.  An optional coaching/mentoring package is also available.
