Tom Hamilton, principal of Bardstown High School, has been named
KASSP's 2005 Principal of the Year.
Chosen for the award over a number of outstanding applicants,
Hamilton’s achievements include increasing enrollment at
Bardstown High School, raising test scores, and closing the achievement
gap of minority students.
Hamilton will represent the state in the national competition
for National Principal of the Year, sponsored by MetLife and NASSP.
Hamilton is presently serving as NASSP's Kentucky coordinator,
and is a past KASSP president. Congratulations!
