KASA Standing Committees

Committees have been filled for the current year. Please consider volunteering or nominating a colleague to serve on one of these standing committees in 2013-14. Nominations will open in the spring.

Summer Institute Planning: Design and oversee elements of the annual summer institute, including speaker selection, education sessions, and additional activities

Governance: Review and develop policy for association operations

Legislative: Develop the association's legislative program to guide KASA's lobbying team and General Assembly

Leadership Awards: Administer the award program, including criteria, nomination process, and recipient selection

Legal Review Study: Oversee and develop KASA's legal assistance program

Membership: Develop and implement programs to recruit and retain members

Nominating: Officer nomination and candidate selection for vice president and president-elect

 

Notes

The KASA president appoints committee members each September for 2-year terms.
