Kentucky Opry Junior Pros

Developing Kentucky’s next generation of performers through music, stage experience, and professional-level training.

The Kentucky Opry Jr. Pros is a premier youth music program for talented students ages 6–18. Participants receive instruction in vocal performance, musical instruments, stage presence, music theory, commercial music, and musical history.

Each year, students audition for a spot in the program and gain real-world performance experience through rehearsals, classroom sessions, and major seasonal productions. Jr. Pros also perform as the opening act for the Kentucky Opry.

In addition to seasonal productions, students participate in popular “Headliner Shows,” including spring and Halloween performances, while collaborating with local dance studios and professional performers.

Alumni of the program have continued careers in music and entertainment across Kentucky, Nashville, New York, Orlando, Cincinnati, and beyond.
