Shonna Storz, MS, RD, Life in Balance Fitness and Wellness
Shonna, a Health & Wellness Coach and owner of Life in Balance Fitness and Wellness, earned her BS in Biology from University of California at Davis, and Master of Science degrees in Biology and Nutrition, both from Florida State University. She has been in the fitness and wellness industry for over 23 years helping people improve their health in various capacities including as a Corporate Wellness Educator, Nutrition Educator, Fitness Director, Yoga Instructor, and Sports and Conditioning Coach. Her newest passion as a coach is helping successful professionals be free from stress and feeling overwhelmed so they can live a life of joy and freedom. Early in her career, Shonna taught Life Sciences to middle school students in Florida before moving to Danville, Kentucky in 2009.
Andrew Marotta, Port Jervis Schools, NY
Andrew Marotta is the Director of Communications & Academic Services at Port Jervis Schools, NY, and a nationally recognized inspirational speaker, author of 7 leadership books, and leader of the Surviving & Thriving movement. Having spent 20 years as a school Principal and AP and just as many years officiating Division I college basketball, Andrew brings a rare depth of experience to every stage. A master storyteller, he engages audiences with authentic stories, memorable props, and thought-provoking activities centered on leadership and perseverance. He is also a husband and father who strives to positively impact everyone he meets.
Teresa Combs, Fowler Bell PLLC
Teresa T. Combs is Of-Counsel in the firm’s Education and Employment Law Groups. She has represented school districts, educational cooperatives, and other businesses for 40 years. Teresa is an experienced litigator and legal trainer. She provides day-to-day legal guidance in education and employment law to numerous school districts and other educational entities. Teresa is best known for her skills in the areas of special education, Section 504, employment, and harassment/discrimination law. Ms. Combs served as the Secretary, Vice-Chair, and Chair of the Education Law Section of the Kentucky Bar Association from 1997-2000. She is a member of the Kentucky Council of School Board Attorneys; the National Council of School Attorneys; and is an Executive Board Member of the Kentucky Administrators of Special Education. Ms. Combs has presented hundreds of presentations and trainings throughout Kentucky to many different educational and other entities.
